I’m a postdoctoral researcher in the Dynamic Graphics Project (DGP) Lab at University of Toronto, supervised by Alec Jacobson. My research objective is to better understand and assist visual creation. I’m currently working on projects about vector graphics, sketch processing, and image-generator-related topics.
I received my PhD from the University of British Columbia, supervised by by Alla Sheffer. During my PhD, I conducted research to bridge raw freehand line drawings with precise digital representations and also to robustly generate line drawings based on 3D models. Before that, I completed my MS at Carnegie Mellon University and my BEng at Beihang University in China. I have previously interned at Adobe Research and Disney Research.
